The Reasons Why I Haven’t Mastered English Yet
Hello!
My name is Muhammad Davi Ibrahim. I am a student of Gunadarma University . On
this opportunity I want to tell you about my reasons why I haven’t mastered English
yet. I learn English since elementary school to high school, other than that I
English tutoring. My reasons to learn English because English is a universal
language. Not a few people in Indonesia who have started proficient in using
the English language. They use it for communication, work, launched their
vocabulary in speaking, business, etc.
I think the reasons why i haven’t mastered english yet. Because first, when i was
elementary school or high school i thought english isn’t an important thing to learn so im never take it
seriously. Second, in the past i don’t have any spirit to learn about that because i think its
not my passion and now i realize that is such a wrong mindset. Third, even my
parents keep telling me to get a english tutoring, i even dropped out of the
middle of the road just because i don’t like teacher, she is very grumpy, so funny right.
Last, because English has been used by me passively.
In daily life, I rarely practice speaking in English, I only use English
language to communicate in English tutoring. That’s why I can’t seem to be
fluent in English. Sometimes I get too shy to speak English because I am afraid
I will make mistake in pronunciation. And I am being able to understand but I
find it hard to be voice out. And I am still lack of vocabulary.
Beside that, i think
English is so hard
to learn because there is so many patterns that i have to know, i must know
what is verb, adjective, pronounce and etc. Sometimes for some people like me
is so hard to learn if we don’t know the basic
since we were kid. but never too late to learn, right?
